The Wandering Davidsons: The rest of the pictures

Sunday, January 22, 2012. The rest of the pictures. The city wall was built and patched with whatever was available! House just inside the city walls. The statues are replicas of what was found. Another home, right next to the other. They are separated by only a small alley. The public baths. The sand on the left is covering the mosaics on the floor. They do this during the winter to preserve the tiles from the weather. Not a bad picture! It would be nice if this were actually observed! Such a pretty eye!

The Wandering Davidsons: Christmas-ish jammies!

http://www.wanderingdavidsons.blogspot.com/2012/01/christmas-ish-jammies.html

Saturday, January 7, 2012. This year, due to a mail backup in Istanbul, Christmas Eve jammies turned into 2 days after Christmas jammies. We finally got sizes right for Chris and Aubree. Nick's are way too big. I guess 2 out of 3 is not too shabby. Nick likes to do weird smiles lately. Chris is laughing in this because it's the first time (out of 5 pictures) that he's not blinking! Cute pictures:) I love catching up on your blog! So sorry they didnt make it! January 13, 2012 at 9:27 PM.

Friday, September 23, 2011. Did you know I contribute to a food blog? It is authentic Louisiana cuisine, and my boys weren't all that thrilled with it. It had too many vegetables, I didn't add the sausage, and it was soupier than what they were envisioning. Aubree and I loved it! Or click on the blog on the sidebar that is titled "Simply Delectable Cooking". Let me know if you try anything out, and if you have a favorite family recipe, please send it to me! I would love to try it! The BIGGEST change this...

These pics taken right before he left for the hospital to get the cast finally. But let me take you back to the very beginning. It's a very good place to start. The awesome local s...

June 29, 2013. Reposted from kenleilenae.com. A unique mixture of musty marble and salty air permeate the senses before rounding the corner to the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, Morocco. The building is not quite in sight yet, but the elongated shadow of the structure reaches for you to announce the approach of midday prayers. And finally, you see it. Towering 689 feet into the heavens, the mosque’s minaret acts as a beacon for the Moroccan coast. This is a place of community, worship and serenity.
