UPDATE ON ITASCA STATE PARK: We stayed here again in June, 2011 in the Pine Ridge Campground. The site was a long back in with lots of room on either side of the site. Our AT&T cell service did not work here. Verizon is a little better but very weak. There are two pay phones in the park. The park provides a list of libraries where WIFI is available. June 29, 2013. Reposted from kenleilenae.com. A unique mixture of musty marble and salty air permeate the senses before rounding the corner to the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, Morocco. The building is not quite in sight yet, but the elongated shadow of the structure reaches for you to announce the approach of midday prayers. And finally, you see it. Towering 689 feet into the heavens, the mosque’s minaret acts as a beacon for the Moroccan coast. This is a place of community, worship and serenity.
