The dough rose quickly, puffing into perfect circles, and I did my best to master bagel rolling. Not as simple as I hoped! Despite their not-so-perfect shape, I believe they turned out fantastically, and Kristian and I quickly set about making them into sandwiches for dinner - complete with swiss cheese and sun-dried tomatoes. Heat the oven to 170C and line a baking tray (25cm x 35cm) with greaseproof paper. Mix the cheeses with the ground almonds and then spread the mixture out evenly over the baking tray. Grind fresh pepper and drop pinches of Thyme evenly over the mixture, as much as you like. Bake in the oven for around 10 minutes, until it looks like the cheese is all melted. January 22, 2015.
