Journey of our lives: January 2010
http://mymacfamily.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Journey of our lives. Monday, January 25, 2010. The Circle of Life. We made flight bookings, packed our bags, got to Chicago to file Sophia's passport and flew out to Malaysia. The entire journey from beginning to end felt like one big nightmare and it came with so many roadblocks and challenges of its own. Somehow, by God's grace, we arrived in Malaysia on Christmas eve. Journey of our lives: 4 month old Sophia
http://mymacfamily.blogspot.com/2010/03/4-month-old-sophia.html
Journey of our lives. Friday, March 19, 2010. 4 month old Sophia. What is Sophia up to these days? Well, she's been rolling over this week - that's fun to watch. She doesn't like being on her tummy, so she has motivation to roll onto her back. But not vice versa. Started on some baby rice cereal, but not too thrilled about it yet. Enjoys sitting in her bumbo seat and watching everyone around her. If you put a rattle in her hand, she loves to shake it and tries to put it in her mouth, every time. Our jour...

Journey of our lives: I'm not a Jew
http://mymacfamily.blogspot.com/2010/09/im-not-jew.html
Journey of our lives. Monday, September 20, 2010. I'm not a Jew. That's right, Sydney! You're not. Glad we got that clarified. Never a dull moment at the dinner table. Maybe I should start up a separate blog that only journals dinner time moments with the family. That would certainly make an interesting blog, if only I had a secretary. Posted by Vivien Macdonald. Blooming Wives: Dealing with miscarriage
http://bloomingwives.blogspot.com/2011/06/dealing-with-miscarriage_05.html
It is never easy to cope with deaths. It is difficult when it involves a family member whom you had known since you are born or a close friend whom you have shared a bond with for ages. But one loss caught me by surprise. I did not expect that dealing with the death of a stranger would, too, be so griveous. This stranger - this life - was growing inside me. The bleeding, an every-day reminder of losing my first child, lasted around 12 days. But the agony was not flushed out together. You better take care...
